The Melbourne Wranglers Wrestling Club is a DGS not-for-profit community sporting club.
Wrestling is a great way to get fit while having fun. The sport incorporates full body movements to build strength, fitness, and explosive movement. Wrestling can also be seen as a non-violent self-defence type training that builds self-confidence and self-esteem.

What to Wear
Regular gym gear – Shirt/singlet and shorts.
For hygiene reasons street shoes are not permitted on the mat.
You can either go barefoot, wear socks or, if you have them, dedicated wrestling shoes (see below). Please make sure your fingernails are clipped short and all jewellery taken off.
Please also bring a sweat towel, bottle of water, and a towel if you want to shower afterwards.
Facilities and Change Rooms
The facilities at Dominance Mixed Martial Arts are second to none. The academy is fitted out with only the best equipment available to create a great training experience. With large and open training areas for wrestling, we ensure there is ample room to train safely regardless of class size. The wrestling mat is 180m of high quality Zebra MMA, specifically designed for both hygiene and grip and make training that much better. Dominance provides spacious, clean change rooms, showers and toilet facilities for both males and females. For those who head out straight after training or just like to shower as soon as you get off the mat the hot water is always hot.
